We did it! Thanks to so many people for their support. This ride was always really meant to be more of an extended fun-run than a gruelling ordeal. In fact Gordon and I loved every minute. We were even still friends by the finishline.
Gordon and I had hoped to perhaps raise a couple of hundred pounds for the Sick Kids Hospital along the way. However we've been both absolutely blown away at the support you've given us. Incredibly, by the time we reached Durness, our JustGiving page had raised over £1,500. By the time page finally closed we've topped £2,000 (£2,488.50 including Gift Aid). Wow. Thank you people! After so many years of good care and attention, it's brilliant to be able to give something so useful back to the Sick Kids Hospital.
For those who have supported us - and there are so many of you - we thank you again with happy hearts and tired legs. The Highlands were stunning, the winds were kind and the rain - well, confession time - it wasn't that hard... Gordon's snoring though, blimey, that's a different story...
